We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on Solutions Engineer / Sales Engineer who is passionate about technology and can actively support customers throughout their journey. As a founding team member, you will play a key role in shaping how we approach technical pre-sales and post-sales support. Your core responsibility will be to provide technical support throughout the deal cycle, ensuring customers receive the right solutions to meet their needs and are set up for success post-sale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales Technical Support: Lead technical discovery sessions, conduct product demos, perform proof-of-concept technical explorations, and provide education on why certain challenges exist.
- Address Developer Objections: Support Account Executives (AEs) in overcoming complex technical objections from developers and technical buyers.
- Prove ROI: Help customers understand the value proposition and enable faster decisions.
- Customer Onboarding: Your role is to enable, unblock, and systematise.
- Technical Support for Enterprise Customers: Provide robust technical support for enterprise clients, strengthening customer trust and building deeper relationships with engineering and development teams.
- Developer-Focused Communication: Engage with technical buyers and developers confidently, demonstrating the ability to hold your own in technical conversations and translate complex technical concepts into digestible information.
- Technical Expertise: Be the go-to expert in both pre-sales technical work and guiding customers to production environments.
Requirements:
- Ex-Developer/Engineer: You’ve come from a full-stack development background and have made the transition into a customer-facing technical role. You must be comfortable with code and hold your own in technical discussions.
- Tech Skills: Experience with React is essential. Additional familiarity with SaaS solutions for Developer/Engineering teams is a strong plus.
- Customer-Facing Experience: You’ve worked in customer-facing roles where clear communication was key. You understand how to articulate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders while maintaining credibility with developers.
- Adaptability: You thrive in an early-stage, fast-paced environment and adapt to new challenges and evolving needs with a positive attitude.
- Strong Communication: You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build transparent, trustworthy relationships with customers and internal teams alike.
