Office-based. What if your next role wasn’t about maintaining a roadmap but scaling a product that’s already proven? Last year, our client built and launched a brand-new payroll platform from the ground up, designed specifically for Bureau Payroll & Accountancy firms. It’s already live, already processing payroll for thousands of employees, and already being used by around 100 companies.
Now they are entering the next phase: growth. We’re looking for a Product Manager who wants real ownership, someone ready to help turn a strong product into a serious competitor in the UK payroll market. This isn’t a corporate PM role buried in layers of process. You’ll sit at the centre of product, engineering, customers, and commercial teams. You’ll shape what gets built, why it gets built, and how it delivers value.
You’ll work closely with developers inside sprint cycles, writing clear user stories, defining acceptance criteria, reviewing completed work, and removing blockers. At the same time, you’ll be speaking to customers to understand the gaps in their current systems and translating those insights into high-impact features.
You’ll collaborate with Sales and Marketing to sharpen the value proposition and ensure the product clearly communicates how it helps payroll bureaus run faster, more accurately, and with full compliance. You’ll need to balance innovation with regulation.
We’re looking for someone who likely has experience in a SaaS product role, ideally within fintech, HR tech, or another regulated environment. Someone commercially aware, analytically strong, and comfortable bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Payroll experience is a strong advantage but a solid SaaS background will go a long way.
Because the foundations are in place. The product works. There’s traction. There’s ambition. And there’s room to make a genuine impact. If you’re looking for influence, pace, and the opportunity to scale something meaningful, this could be the move.
