THE ROLE:
The right candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience in influencing strategic decisions of a business using a variety of data sources to back up recommendations and analysis. They will ideally have a background in business process improvement where they have built best practice and are used to a dynamic business environment where problem-solving and process implementation are attractive challenges. The candidate will be comfortable using large datasets to produce complex models which will support their understanding and forecasting of the Business Unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Senior Finance Business Partner plays a strategic role in driving business performance by providing insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and decision support.
- Partnering with business leaders across functions, this role ensures alignment between financial planning and operational execution, delivering value through data-driven insights.
- Where there are gaps in processes, the Senior FBP will highlight them and provide potential solutions.
- The role will include:
- Stakeholder Engagement and Influence
- Effectively communicate with and build strong relationships with global stakeholders at all levels fostering a collaborative environment.
- Drive cross functional collaboration, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve shared objectives.
- Prepare impactful presentations to senior management articulating complex financial information with clarity.
- Driving Transformation
- Lead and manage critical finance transformation initiatives in the Performance Business Unit, ensuring alignment to the Finance objectives.
- Champion opportunities to streamline processes, elevate data quality and enhance financial reporting capabilities.

- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems.
- Develop and implement improvements Month-end Production and analysis of departmental management accounts before presentations to CFO/Head of FP&A.
- Standard month-end processing.
- Planning and Analysis
- Focus on Revenue, Delivery and sales opportunities.
- Annual Budget.
- Monthly rolling forecasts.
- Risks and Opportunity management.
- Business partnering financial & non-financial stakeholders.
- Scenario Planning.
- Ad hoc analysis required by Business Unit.
- Commercial Analysis (Client profitability, resource utilisation, etc).
- Capex & Investment Committee papers/business cases.
Requirements:
- 7+ Years PQE (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
- Experience business partnering Senior Leadership Teams.
- Experience using large datasets, strong excel modelling and data driven skills.
- Ideally experience of working within a marketing, digital or creative agency environment.
