The role
The Motion and 3D Designer will play an important role in delivering motion graphic solutions across This is Beyond’s seven Event/s, both over the annual campaigns and onsite when required.
As well as developing 3D concepts, layouts, and designs that align with creative briefs and brand narratives.
This role requires a passion for all things design – online, offline, spatial. multimedia, and installation.
Experience in events, brand creation, and execution is essential.
- Core Responsibilities
- Creative Development
- Collaborate within the creative team to conceptualise and execute engaging motion graphics and animations that communicate our brand and campaign messages effectively.
- Collaborate with Senior Designers and the Art Director to create visually stunning 3D installations
- Develop concept renders into technical specifications for Build suppliers
- Create visually stunning video content for various marketing campaigns, social media platforms, digital signage, websites, and other digital channels.
- Develop Brand Campaigns into Motion Narratives. Developing Motion techniques and applications to create a coherent look & feel across Motion.
- Project Management
- Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure consistency in brand identity and messaging across all visual assets.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to project timelines and deadlines.
- Work WITh Operations department to ensure execution of 3D concepts into 3D Builds
- In conjunction with the Art Director, oversee the entire creative process for motion graphics, from concept through to production.
Ensure timely development and delivery of assets as part of the overall yearly campaigns.
- Technical Expertise
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in motion design, animation, and video production techniques.
- Utilise industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Illustrator. Experience with Cinema 4D or other 3D animation software is essential.
- Utilize Rendering engines (e. g. Redshift, Octane, or standard C4D render) – for high-quality output
- Apply strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory to all projects.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Foster strong communication and collaboration within the creative team and across other departments.
- Present ideas effectively and receive constructive feedback.
- Act as a key point of contact for motion design-related queries and provide support to team members as needed.
- Core Skills & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in motion design, animation, or video production, preferably in a creative agency or studio environment.
With at least 2 years demonstrable working as a Motion Designer and 3D Designer.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Animation, or a related field.
- Software
Proficiency: Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator and 3D animation software..
Advanced Microsoft/ Google Suite skills as well strong portfolio demonstrating a range of motion design work, including animations, video editing, and visual effects.
- Portfolio: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present ideas effectively and receive constructive feedback.
- Communication Skills: A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually compelling content.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork and Independence: Good understanding of UX/UI design principles and interactive media is advantageous.
- UX/UI Design Knowledge: Familiarity with video editing techniques, colour correction, and sound design is a plus.
- Video Editing Skills: Experience working with clients in various industries, including luxury travel and lifestyle.
- Client Experience: Knowledge of motion design trends in digital marketing, advertising, and social media.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles and interactive media.
- Flexibility and Travel: Willingness to travel and work flexible business hours as required.
- Capacity to work flexible hours as required when on-site.

Permanent, with a 4-day working week.
Our hybrid model includes 3 days in the office (located in Shepherd's Bush), 1 day working from home, and every Friday as a non-working day as standard.
