Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Manager within the fresh food manufacturing industry, to lead quality, compliance and food safety standards within a high-care fresh food environment. You will play a pivotal role in driving technical strategy and managing customer relationships.
Main Responsibilities:
- Experience in BRC Audits
- Lead quality, compliance, and food safety standards
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Working with and setting up HACCP controls, BRC controls and BRCGS Version 9 Audit
- Continuous improvement of quality standards processes by means of improvement plans
- Adhere to and report on weekly and monthly KPI’s
- Develop and maintain a robust auditing programme that continues to meet the requirements set by BRC
- Lead company’s Health Safety Committee
- Chair H S Meetings
Requirements:
- Background in technical, QA role, quality assurance manager within food manufacturing industry
- Good experience within the Food Manufacturing industry and fresh foods
- 5 – 10 years experience in both announced and unannounced audits
- Building relationships with stakeholders and auditors
