Duties:
- Technical leadership
- Team and project management - Key member of the structural design teams through all the project stages
- Undertake structural design for projects including power, energy, rail and renewables
- Comply with design standards and undertake and manage the drawings, specifications, and design deliverables
- Client and business engagement - Act as structural engineering contact and build and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors
Requirements:
- BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a design consultancy.
- Proficiency in design software and a high level of computer literacy.
- Knowledge of UK design codes, standards and industry specifications.
- Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in health and safety management, including CDM Risk Registers.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the capability to present ideas confidently.
- Membership of a relevant professional body (ICE or IStructE) or near chartered status.
- A current clean UK driving license is advantageous.
