Our client is an established electronics manufacturing business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality products and building long-term customer partnerships.
They are looking for a customer-focused individual to join their team, with the role and salary tailored around your level of experience.
The Role You'll be a key point of contact for customers, managing their requirements and working closely with internal teams across production, engineering, buying and stores to ensure orders are delivered successfully.
Depending on your experience, you'll either support established accounts while developing your skills, or take ownership of your own customer portfolio.
You'll be responsible for: Building strong, long-term customer relationships Managing customer orders and coordinating requirements internally Providing accurate updates and resolving issues proactively Managing multiple projects with excellent attention to detail Supporting quotations and commercial activity Working closely with production and engineering teams About You We're open to candidates at Junior Account Manager through to experienced Account Manager level.
Junior candidates should have strong customer service, account coordination or administration experience, with the ambition to develop commercially.
An understanding of electronics would be highly advantageous.
Experienced Account Managers should ideally have a background in electronics manufacturing, contract manufacturing or a closely related technical environment, with MRP and commercial experience.
For either level, you'll need excellent communication skills, strong organisation, a proactive approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
A full clean driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally are also required.
