We are currently recruiting for 3 Lettings Officers to join a busy and fast-paced housing team following a recent restructure and increased workload across the service. This role has been created to support a significant backlog of properties ready to let, so we are looking for candidates who can hit the ground running and confidently manage a busy workload from day one.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous lettings or housing experience who are confident delivering excellent customer service and working independently within a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities- Managing the end-to-end lettings process
- Contacting residents regarding property offers and required documentation
- Supporting tenancy sign-ups and property viewings
- Issuing keys and coordinating move-ins
- Setting up tenants, offers, and tenancies on NEC systems
- Liaising with Lettings Coordinators and internal housing teams
- Maintaining accurate records and updating housing systems
- Delivering excellent customer service to residents and stakeholders
- Managing workload effectively and prioritising tasks independently
- Previous experience within lettings, housing, allocations, or tenancy services
- Working knowledge of NEC Housing systems is essential
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
- Driving licence and vehicle preferred but not essential
- Temporary contract until September
- Initial 2-week training period office-based
- Hybrid working thereafter: 2 days office / 3 days home working
