Our client is looking for an experienced Food Manufacturing Manager with experience in the food manufacturing industry, to lead and oversee the food production, warehousing, transportation, quality standards and customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead all departments in terms of food production, transportation, equipment processing, stores/warehouse, dish-room, quality assurance/QHSE compliance and transportation.
  • Monitor the staff training programmes and develop the team.
  • Ensure production standards and customer service requirements are met.
  • Lead and manage the senior leadership team.
  • Continuous improvement.
  • Support, assist and develop lean initiatives and quality initiatives to achieve operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain customer communication and relationships.
  • Manage projects within the unit.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelors in Operations Management, Business Management, or related field.
  • Experience in catering or food manufacturing, logistics, or food industry indirectly managing 250+ level employees.
  • Operational understanding of HACCP, COSHH, DVLA requirements.
  • Must be an ambitious and driven individual.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
