Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Civil & Structural Engineer to join their growing team, within the Power & Energy sector.

Duties:

  • Technical leadership
  • Team and project management - Key member of the structural design teams through all the project stages
  • Undertake structural design for projects including power, energy, rail and renewables
  • Comply with design standards and undertake and manage the drawings, specifications, and design deliverables
  • Client and business engagement - Act as structural engineering contact and build and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors

Requirements:

  • BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a design consultancy
  • Proficiency in design software and a high level of computer literacy
  • Knowledge of UK design codes, standards and industry specifications
  • Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (ICE or IStructE) or near chartered status
  • A current clean UK driving license is advantageous
