This is Alexander Faraday Recruitment are excited to be working with a growing retail, food & beverage business looking for a Senior Retail Buyer to lead category strategy, manage key suppliers, and develop a high-performing buying team. This is a predominantly home-based role with occasional travel to Head Office and suppliers.
- Own and deliver category buying strategy
- Lead range planning aligned to customer and sales mix
- Manage key supplier relationships and commercial terms
- Drive sales, margin, and performance through data-led decisions
- Lead, coach, and develop junior Buyers
- Ensure smooth day-to-day buying operations and processes
5+ years’ experience in a Buyer role
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset
- Proven supplier negotiation and contract management experience

- Relevant certifications (Food Safety / H&S)
