This is Alexander Faraday Recruitment are delighted to be working with an exciting food and retail business who are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join their team. The Role The purpose of the role is to successfully lead the supply chain from end to end. Working with suppliers & procurement to onboard new products and using customer data to build a demand plan to supply products into the network. This is a hybrid role 3 days per week in the office, however at the beginning whilst you are bedding in you will need to be in the office a little more. There is also a travel element to the role across various locations throughout the UK. Main Duties and Responsibilities E nd-to-end supply chain Lead and influence the supply chain team Measurement, management and reporting of supplier performance Develop planning across the supply chain, including demand, supply and delivery Ensuring inventory levels are maintained at appropriate target levels across the network Work closely with support functions such as Procurement Manage one Supply Chain Coordinator plus a dotted line of reports, around 6-8 in total
