We are recruiting for a
Buying Administrator to join an established Purchasing team within a growing business operating across the security, electrical and technical services sectors . This is an office based role with an immediate start.
Reporting to the Buyer, you’ll support the team with the day-to-day purchasing administration, supplier management and stock control.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise and process Purchase Orders and monitor outstanding orders.
- Chase suppliers regarding deliveries, pricing and queries.
- Handle purchasing enquiries by phone and email.
- Maintain Min/Max stock levels and accurate product records.
- Create new part records and maintain purchasing data.
- Work closely with Purchasing, Stores, engineers and other internal teams.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and proactive , with strong attention to detail and a confident communication style.
You’ll ideally have
- Purchasing, procurement, supply chain or relevant administration experience.
- Experience raising POs and dealing with suppliers.
- Good Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
Simpro experience would be advantageous , as would experience within Fire & Security, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or another technical/trade environment.
