A global leader in the construction industry, is seeking a Training Instructor on a permanent basis, for their Technical Academy, in Dublin, Ireland.

The ideal candidate will have a construction/building background and looking to move off the tools and into a training role. You will be confident and be able to provide training going forward, once trained. There will be a need to commute between Kingscourt & Dublin however a company van will be provided. The ideal candidate must have demonstrable experience of building regulations, health & safety, drywall/plasterboard and internal dry-lining and fabric first energy efficiency installation practices.
Key Accountabilities
* Maintain safe training environment and working practices
* Delivery of practical and theoretical training sessions
* Prepare and maintain training displays and support material
* Assist the Technical Academy and Commercial Sales Teams with training activities
* Communicate with training attendee prior to and after training
* Support the reporting of the Technical Academy training activities
Experience
* Construction industry qualifications with experience of working working within the construction/building sector, on site.
* IT literate – MS Office
* Ability to demonstrate safe working practices
* Safe practical operation of using tools and equipment
* Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
* Reading, interpretation and communication of technical drawings.
* Presentation skills – ability to clearly convey both technical and practical orientated topics with authority to large groups and audiences.
* An eye for accuracy and detail.
* Can work well in a team environment to help deliver key results and business goals.
* Knowledge of current construction practices, ideally in the areas of dry-lining or fabric first energy efficiency.
* Broad understanding of current Building Regulations and performance attributes .
* Willingness to engage and learn new construction practices (as relevant), in accordance with current development, standards and regulations.
