We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing business in Lincolnshire for an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy site HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a generalist HR professional who thrives on hands-on employee relations work and wants genuine scope to add value across the site.

About the Role: You'll act as the subject matter expert for employee relations, managing a varied caseload including absence, disciplinary and grievance, and capability cases, within a highly unionised environment. Alongside this, you'll support recruitment, wellbeing and engagement initiatives, and get involved in wider HR projects as the site continues to build on its people strategy.

  • Provide expert HR advice and support to managers on ER matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence cases
  • Support delivery of key people metrics such as retention, turnover and absence
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures and employment law requirements are applied consistently
  • Maintain accurate HR systems, records and reporting
  • Coordinate Occupational Health referrals and support wellbeing initiatives
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning and apprenticeship programmes
  • Contribute to employee engagement activities, training compliance and communication forums
  • Support ethical audits and health & safety initiatives

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven generalist HR experience, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing or a similar volume/unionised environment
  • Strong, hands-on employee relations experience managing cases end to end
  • Confident building relationships with managers, unions and staff at all levels
  • CIPD qualified or working towards qualification (desirable)
  • Good working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
