This is Alexander Faraday Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for a rapidly growing food production business. With recent expansion doubling both headcount and turnover, this new Production Manager role is a great opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their leadership career. Supporting production across 2–3 local sites, you’ll lead a team of around 30, drive process improvements, and ensure output, quality, and compliance targets are consistently met.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing daily manufacturing operations across multiple sites
  • Leading and developing staff while maintaining a hands-on approach
  • Driving production targets, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
  • Ensuring quality control, compliance, and H&S standards are met
  • Reporting directly to the Operations Director and contributing to senior meetings
  • Supporting future growth with scalable processes and team development

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience in food manufacturing at Production Manager or Supervisor level
  • Proven leadership and people development skills
  • A proactive, hands-on mindset – not afraid to step in when needed
  • Solid understanding of production KPIs, health & safety, and quality processes
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
