Our client has an exciting opportunity for either newly qualified or experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a large team to be responsible for customer satisfaction, road safety and delivering an excellent service! You will be taught about taco graphs and general regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure you adhere to road safety
- Be responsible for loading and driving our specialist vehicles and delivering products
- Ensure that you comply with Food Safety & Hygiene protocols
- Ensure vehicle refrigeration is switched on to maintain temperature levels as required
- Load and unload catering on and off the truck in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with airport safety rules
Requirements:
- Class 2 Driving License & CPC
- Open to newly qualified Class 2 Drivers or experienced Drivers
- Catering experience would be desirable
- Must have the ability to work calmly under pressure
- Excellent communication and customer liaison skills
- Good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken
- Operational awareness, understanding of HACCP, COSHH, DDA, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety and DFT requirements
Interviews will be 1.5 hours in total, and will include theory, maths and a driving assessment. 5 years referencing is essential.
