ABOUT THE ROLE: An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding organization based in Crawley to take the lead as their hands-on Food Safety / Technical Manager in BRC Audits. Technical integrity and food safety/auditing is key for this role, and we are looking for a strong leader who will be able to maintain and improve the quality management systems within our organisation. Responsible for technical compliance, food safety, quality and hygiene standards across the site. Key Responsibilities: * Working with and setting up HACCP controls, BRC controls and BRC Audit – ensuring the site is audit ready * Ensuring Red Tractor and other internal and external audits are complete & develop a quality culture throughout the site * Continuous improvement of quality standards & processes * Adhere to and report on weekly and monthly basis * Develop and maintain a robust auditing programme that continues to meet the requirements * The site lead for all audits and contact with FSA, EA, EHO, HSE and lead company’s Health & Safety Committee & Chair H&S Meeting * Building relationships with Auditors Requirements: * Knowledge and an in-depth understanding of quality management, audit compliance, and BRC standard * Good technical skills including knowledge of HACCP, Level 3 Food Safety Legislation & Food Hygiene * Experience at management level within the food industry * Results orientated and demonstrate strong delivery of technical standards within the food industry * Excellent organization skills & ability to work under pressure
