The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

To contribute to the management of the school/service and the delivery of high‑quality education through the appropriate involvement of pupils, staff, parents, multi‑disciplinary agencies and the community it serves. This will be done in accordance with the Authority's Strategic Plan, the school's/service's Development Plan, National Priorities, Local Improvement Objectives, current legislation, and within national and local agreements.

Location: Abbotswell School, Aberdeen

Duration: Fixed Term, Part Time

PVG Membership: PVG membership is required for this role. The Council will initially cover the cost, which will be deducted from the employee’s first full month’s salary. Existing PVG members will be charged £18; non‑members £59.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Appropriate Teaching Qualification
  • Full GTC (Scotland) Registration in the appropriate subject/sector
  • PVG scheme membership
  • Postholder is able to demonstrate:
  • Standard for Full Registration
  • Standard for Continued Professional Learning
  • Standard for Middle Level Leadership
