Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a curious and analytical thinker to join our Corporate Affairs team as a Strategy and Research Co-ordinator. You will provide hands-on delivery of our research, policy and insight activity. By horizon scanning, analysing policy and delivering research projects, you will be key in gathering insight to drive our business strategy. This is a hybrid role, so you’ll work mainly from home and at least one day a week from our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough. We’ll need you to be flexible around business and team needs, so you may need to come into the office more frequently when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You’ll provide research and insight to produce clear recommendations and turn it into actionable intelligence for leaders.
  • You’ll be confident horizon scanning and analysing policy to understand impact.
  • You’ll analyse public data and turn it into insight to support decision making.
  • You’ll maintain a strategic research plan across the business and support the Strategy and Research Lead in actioning it.

  • You should be a curious and critical thinker.
  • You’ll have experience of collecting, analysing and interpreting policy.
  • You’ll be skilled in presenting findings and research clearly.
  • You’ll have the ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines and support multiple projects.
