Role Overview
Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a
Painter on a permanent basis to join our Repairs team. Working as part of a specialist in-house team, you’ll complete painting jobs in our customers’ homes to tackle damp and mould issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out painting works, taking pride in doing the job right first time.
- Ensure our homes meet the highest standards for our customers. We’ll provide you with a company van, fuel card, tools and any PPE you’ll need for the role.
- Work primarily in the Tees Valley area (Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough), with occasional travel beyond.
Our working hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 3.30pm on Friday.
- Jobs are planned for you by our Work Planners – so you can concentrate on carrying out repairs to a high standard.
- Contribute to our ‘Trade Plus’ scheme, acquiring diverse skills to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
About You
- Time served experience as a Painter.
- Ideally, you’ll have damp and mould experience.
- Must possess a valid UK driving licence.
- Comfortable using digital devices or be willing to learn. We use mobile and hand-held devices to allocate jobs and for you to record your completion of work.
- Skilled in general semi-skilled works and eager to assist in various trades.
- A commitment to safe working practices and a good grasp of health and safety regulations.
- We’d particularly be interested in hearing from female applicants.
