Join us as a Joiner at Thirteen Group! Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Joiner to join our Repairs and Maintenance team on a permanent basis. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring high quality repairs and maintenance are carried out to ensure our homes are of the highest standard ready for our new customers.

You will be predominantly working in the Tees Valley (Hartlepool, Stockton and Middlesbrough) but you may be required to travel outside of these areas on occasions. This role is categorised as an operative role, meaning that you are likely to move around from site-to-site or property-to-property more often, depending on the work needed to be done. You won’t necessarily have a permanent work base as you’ll probably be able to travel from home to your site. You’ll be advised about your work location where needed.

About You

  • Experience as a Joiner, specifically within domestic repair and maintenance and you’ll hold NVQ level 3 in Joinery.
  • Skilled in general semi-skilled works and eager to assist in various trades.
  • Must possess a clean valid UK driving licence.
  • Experience of domestic repair and maintenance.
  • Comfortable using digital devices or be willing to learn.
  • A commitment to safe working practices and a good grasp of health and safety regulations.
  • Prepared to join our call-out team when necessary, working on a rota to support our customers out of hours for emergency repairs.
