Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced
Financial Transactions Manager to join us on a fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave.
This is a key role within our Finance Directorate, helping us maintain essential services while contributing to the delivery of service improvements and innovative ways of working.
Our dedicated Finance Transactions team delivers accounts payable and treasury services across the Group, ensuring robust financial controls are maintained while providing an efficient and customer-focused service to operational teams.
This is a hybrid role, so you'll work from our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough at least one day per week, with the rest of your week working from home.
You'll also be expected to attend in-person meetings as required.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of Finance Transaction services across Thirteen Group, including accounts payable and treasury services.
- Manage and maintain control of the Group's bank accounts.
- Ensure effective financial controls are in place and monitored across all transactional services.
- Drive service improvements and support the implementation of new innovations and ways of working.
- Work collaboratively with teams across the Group to ensure services meet business requirements.
- Lead, motivate and develop the Finance Transactions team to deliver excellent performance.
About You
We're looking for someone who
- Has significant experience of delivering purchase-to-pay processes.
- Has excellent IT skills, with a broad knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft applications.
- Is an effective people manager with experience of managing performance, developing colleagues and creating a positive team culture.
- Has strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Can build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external partners.
- Is motivated by continuous improvement and delivering high-quality services.
