Thirteen Group is on the lookout for an Environmental Co-ordinator to join our specialist environmental sustainability team.
With a real passion for improving environmental performance, you’ll help to develop our approach to bring about positive changes that reduce our environmental impacts and carbon footprint.
This is a roam role, so you’ll work at least one day a week from our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough (This is usually a Wednesday). We’ll need you to be flexible around business and team need, so you may need to come into the office more frequently when required.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the Environmental Sustainability Manager, you’ll facilitate and drive sustainability initiatives across Thirteen to reduce environmental impacts. You’ll be part of projects such as transitioning to an electric fleet.
Deliver solutions and expertise to help achieve net‑zero carbon commitments by 2035.
Facilitate the implementation of our environmental strategy to drive positive change.
Support the carbon footprint calculation process, including the capture, recording, measurement, and analysis of all emissions.
Maintain our Environmental Management System and ensure we uphold the ISO14001 certification.
Promote awareness with internal and external stakeholders on our approach to managing environmental goals.
About You:
With a drive and passion for improving environmental impacts, you’ll have worked with environmental management systems in an environmental or energy role.
Knowledgeable on environmental legislation and the broader climate change agenda. You’ll understand the importance of developing a sustainable approach to all aspects of environmental improvement and management.
Skilled in data management and able to undertake research, analyse, and gather data from a variety of sources and stakeholders.
Able to successfully deliver projects and contribute to the improvement of procedures and processes to deliver improvements in our environmental impacts.
Great written communication skills as you’ll write reports as well as developing and delivering presentations to support sustainability initiatives.
You’ll have strong administrative experience, be extremely organised and able to confidently engage a variety of stakeholders.
