Join Thirteen as an Apprentice Plasterer.

Location: Tees Valley

Salary: £15,434.32 per annum (yearly increments after Year 1). Once qualified, you can expect a salary of £34,777 per year, with opportunities to increase your earnings through overtime and on-call work. This is an 18 month apprenticeship.

Start Date: Monday 7th September 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with plastering work across our properties
  • Learn how to prepare surfaces and carry out repairs and finishing work
  • Support experienced plasterers on site and gain practical experience
  • Learn how to safely use tools, equipment and materials
  • Complete basic tasks and gradually build technical skills
  • Keep accurate records of work and learning
  • Follow health and safety processes at all times
  • Take part in training, college learning and team activities

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Interest in construction or practical trade work
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Reliable, hardworking and positive attitude
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Achieved or predicted to achieve a GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade D/3 or above (or equivalent)
  • Must not already hold a qualification higher than Level 1 in Plastering
  • Ability to travel to sites and college
  • Open to anyone aged 16 or over
