- Lead the daily operational delivery of grounds maintenance, cleansing, graffiti removal, caretaking and estate services activities.
- Manage and support dispersed operational teams, including performance management, coaching and development.
- Ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed quality standards and customer expectations.
- Carry out inspections, monitor compliance and support health and safety, risk management and accident investigations.
- Manage operational resources, budgets, equipment and systems to achieve value for money.
- Monitor performance, analyse trends and drive continuous service improvement through KPI reporting and customer feedback.
IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH National General Certificate, or willingness to work towards these qualifications.
- Significant experience supervising estate services, grounds maintenance or similar operational services.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation, risk management and safe working practices.
- Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills.

Thirteen Group is on the lookout for an Estates Services (Operations) Team Leader to join our Housing and Communities team.
In this role, you’ll lead the day-to-day delivery of estate maintenance, grounds maintenance, caretaking and empty homes garden services, ensuring our estates remain safe, clean and well maintained.
You’ll supervise multiple operational teams, drive service performance and help us deliver excellent outcomes for our customers and communities.
This is a roam role, so you’ll work across our operating areas as required.
We’ll need you to be flexible around business and team need to support colleagues, customers and services across the region.
