Thirteen Group seeks a Strategy and Performance Lead to shape our strategic direction, drive evidence‐led, measurable change, and position the organisation for long‐term success. The role is primarily remote, with occasional days at our Hudson Quay office in Middlesbrough.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape our strategic direction by coordinating the design and delivery of the strategic plan.
- Ensure priorities are aligned, ambitious, and underpinned by robust data, insight, and external benchmarking.
- Align key strategies and programmes with clear success measures, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks that demonstrate impact.
- Track and evaluate service improvement by monitoring performance trends, assessing outcomes, and using insight to inform continuous improvement and strategic growth.
- Translate data into insight by analysing, visualising, and presenting performance information that provides assurance, supports regulatory expectations, and strengthens strategic decision‐making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience designing and delivering strategic performance frameworks, evaluation models, and impact assessments in complex organisations.
- Strong understanding of housing or public sector strategy, or regulated environments, with appreciation for performance management, assurance, and accountability requirements.
- Comfortable with data analysis, performance measurement, outcome tracking, and presenting insights that inform priorities and drive improvement.
- Excellent collaboration skills, working effectively with senior leaders to create aligned, evidence‐based strategies.
- Strong communication skills, capable of challenging constructively, influencing with evidence, and turning insights into action that inspires improvement and innovation.
