Role Overview
It’s a really exciting time for us as we have ambitious plans to be at the forefront of housing investment in our sector. We’re creating pipelines and getting fit for the future. To get there, we plan to invest £20-30 million annually over the next 3-5 years into our customers’ homes.
We’re on the lookout for a Site Manager to join our Investment team to manage the delivery of investments works to our properties located within the Tees Valley. You’ll have a central role in this as you’ll ensure that our investment programmes of refurbishment works are successfully delivered to a high standard and carried out in line with our standards, specification and schedule. Key Responsibilities
- Manage three to four programmes simultaneously across multiple sites.
- Lead a team of multi-trade operatives.
- You’ll confidently be able to navigate and support your team throughout the full colleague lifecycle.
- An advocate of our ‘Everything Safe’ health and safety culture.
- You’ll be the responsible person on site for all aspects of health and safety, including site inductions and regular site inspections.
- Committed to ensure that programmes deliver value for money and that the quality of work is to the highest standard.
- Assist the Investment Area Manager with the contract management of resources.
- Record, report and monitor agreed KPIs and implement remedial action and work plans.
About You
- Confident with managing multiple sites and experience in contractor management.
- Commercially aware and a technical ability to diagnose, probe and find solutions.
- Experience of effectively managing a team of trade operatives.
- If you’ve also dealt with refurbishment works to occupied properties, that would be a plus.
- An in-depth understanding of the management of health and safety at an operational level.
- A continuous improvement mindset to help shape our service delivery and committed to delivering great outcomes for customers.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle to travel across sites when needed.
