Project Surveyor / Building Surveyor

Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Building Surveyor to join our Major Structural Defects team at our head office in Middlesbrough. The role covers a variety of surveying tasks and no two days are the same – you’ll be working as part of the Major Structural Defects (MSD) team covering both structural and fire damage works, as well as supporting on damp and mould.

Opportunities to buy and sell annual leave

Work as part of a team to deliver a customer focused and right first time surveying service
Lead on insurance work in relation to fire and structurally damaged properties
Manage sub-contractors from inception to completion on a variety of work
Survey and specify works relating to structural defects which fall under insurance thresholds

Building Surveying degree or able to demonstrate significant experience
Experience of undertaking a range of building surveys and able to produce good quality written technical reports and detailed drawings
