Join us as a Data Lead at Thirteen Group! Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Data Lead to join our Housing and Communities team. As our directorate’s technical lead for all things data, insight, and performance across housing, communities, and estate services, you’ll have a key role in using data to strengthen customer outcomes, deliver efficiencies, and ensure a seamless, integrated customer journey.
This is your opportunity to make an impact by leading a culture of data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement, to support transformation and strategic planning. This is a hybrid role, so you’ll work mainly from home and at least one day a week from our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough. We’ll need you to be flexible around business and team needs, so you may need to come into the office more frequently when required.

Key Responsibilities
- You’ll champion the use of data, advanced analytics and predictive insight models to identify opportunities early and support more preventative, proactive service delivery.
- Drive the development and monitoring of dashboards, KPIs, benchmarking, and performance frameworks to provide clear, actionable insight.
- Analyse and interpret data to build a deeper understanding of customer and community needs, service performance and challenges, using evidence to influence and shape decisions.
- Lead on data quality and governance by identifying and addressing gaps in tenant and community data capture, quality and reporting across services.
- Develop richer insights into needs and challenges of our customers and communities, to evolve services and enable more tailored support.
- Lead data-driven projects that enhance the customer experience, ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and meets regulatory standards, such as Awaab’s Law and Customer Standards.
About You
- As an expert in data, you’ll have in-depth expertise in data analysis, business intelligence, performance management, or a related field.
- You’ll hold PL300 – Power BI Data Analyst Associate or an equivalent certification.
- Skilled in using business intelligence tools, predictive models, reporting systems, performance dashboards, data visualisation, and Excel.
- An excellent communicator and collaborator, with experience of translating complex data into clear insights.
- You’ll think differently, using data to challenge existing ways of working and drive meaningful change.
- You’ll have an understanding of housing, community and estate-based services, with an awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements.
