Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Gas Engineer to join our gas team. You’ll work primarily in the Tees Valley area (Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough), with occasional travel beyond. You'll have a fixed shift pattern of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00 am to 3:30 pm on Fridays in summer. Key Responsibilities
- Be a part of our high performing gas team, working safely to ensure we meet all our compliance requirements.
- Service and repair gas appliances to keep our customers safe and warm.
- Complete associated gas certification documentation.
- You’ll work in line with gas safety, installation and use regulations, as well as our standard operating procedures.
- Jobs are planned for you by our Work Planners so you can concentrate on carrying out work to a high standard, ensuring ‘right first time’.
- Contribute to our ‘TradePlus’ scheme, acquiring diverse skills to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
About You
- Relevant experience as a Gas Engineer and able to complete services and repairs to a high standard.
- Has an NVQ Level 3 / Craft Certificate in Gas Fitting, as well as the following Domestic qualifications: ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, MET1. Any commercial gas qualifications would be a plus. CRK1 & HTR1 are preferable to have.
- Holds a UK driving licence.
- Comfortable using digital devices or be willing to learn.
- A commitment to safe working practices and a good grasp of health and safety regulations.
- We’d particularly be interested in hearing from female applicants.
