Join us as a Data and Insight Lead at Thirteen Group! Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Data and Insight Lead to join our Housing and Communities team. If you’re passionate about using data to drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes, this could be your opportunity to make an impact.
As our directorate’s technical lead for all things data, insight, and performance, you’ll have a key role in delivering efficiencies, unlocking new ways of working, and boosting productivity to enhance our services and the customer experience. This is a hybrid role, so you’ll work mainly from home and at least one day a week from our fantastic office at Hudson Quay in Middlesbrough. We’ll need you to be flexible around business and team need, so you may need to come into the office more frequently when required.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading a culture of data-informed decision-making across housing, communities and estate services, you’ll identify and drive service improvements.
- Analyse complex housing and community insights data insights and providing innovative solutions that influence service transformation and strategic planning.
- Create dashboards and reports that benchmark performance.
- You’ll develop and use predictive insight models and early warning indicators to support prevention and proactive service delivery.
- Identify and address gaps in customer and community data capture, quality, and reporting processes.
- Make sure our data is accurate, reliable, and meets regulatory standards, such as Awaab’s Law and Customer Standards.
- Through developing deeper insights into needs and challenges of our customers and communities, you’ll have a key role in evolving our service from reactive to preventative and proactive model, with the ability to tailor services to individual needs.
About You
- This is a data-led role, so it goes without saying that you’ll be an expert when it comes to data analysis and business intelligence.
- To understand our data, you’ll need to have experience of working within housing, community and estate-based services.
- An excellent communicator and collaborator, with experience of translating complex data into clear insights.
- You’ll think differently, using data to challenge existing ways of working and drive meaningful change.
- Committed to improving customer journeys and services, you’ll be skilled in analysing, interpreting and presenting complex data sets.
- Experience of delivering value for money through interpreting cost drivers, customer and property data, performance, and efficiency metrics.
- Confident using business intelligence tools, predictive models, reporting systems, performance dashboards, and Excel.
