Role Overview
Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Control Room Co-ordinator to join our control room team at Hudson Quay. You will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing CCTV at our site making sure you are sticking to legislation and regulations but also making sure our customers are safe.
This role is a hub-based role. This means that you’ll be based at a Thirteen site, primarily because you need access to key equipment. You probably won’t travel around the area for work very much and it’s unlikely that you’ll be expected or able to work from home.
You’ll work as part of an 8-person rota, operating on a four on, four off basis working on a 24/7/365 rota, consisting of 12-hour shifts with 90 minutes of unpaid breaks. This is made up of two day shifts (7am-7pm) and two-night shifts (7pm-7am).

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a high quality, effective, customer focussed support service to both internal and external customers
- Contribute to the service’s success through achieving KPI’s and delivering on customer satisfaction targets
- Monitoring and reviewing CCTV
- Work inline with legislation, guidelines and regulations
- Direct and dispatch staff accordingly and provide resolutions to operational issues sometimes in crisis or emergency situations
- Provide accurate recording of information is crucial
About You
- Familiar with security systems like CCTV, fire alarms, door entry systems. This would be a bonus but not a must!
- Great customer service skills are key
- Quick to pick up new systems and confident in using a computer
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Work effectively individually but also, as a team
