The Role
- Lead a People & Talent team of 3 and refine/executethe people and talent strategy to attract, nurture, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of high performance.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the People & Talent strategy: Deliver the 2026/7 annual plan, report on progress, and align people strategies with business goals.
- Act as a Culture and Engagement lead – champion & embed values across the business and oversee the workplace approach.
- Build manager and leadership capability: Partner with the People Partner to coach & train managers on strategic and operational people matters.
- Ensure effective people partnering: Enable teams to achieve their goals through coaching, advice, and training.
- Oversee People operations and analytics: Manage day‑to‑day operations, reporting, and KPIs.
- Manage and develop the People & Talent team: Provide coaching and development to deliver exceptional service.
- Manage the People budget: Work with the COO to deliver clear ROI and support business objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience as a People & Talent Lead or similar in a fast‑growth business.
- Experience partnering with leaders and managers, including culture embedding, ER, and performance cases.
- Organised and experienced in leading company‑wide projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Data‑driven: comfortable using People & Talent data to identify trends and inform strategy.
- High emotional intelligence and self‑awareness.
- Experience managing and coaching a team.
