We’re on a mission to protect society from fraud and money laundering. We’ve already protected over 3 million people through life’s big transactions. Fraud and regulation are rising, costing the UK economy over £100bn every year; this makes it more difficult for businesses to protect themselves and their clients from fraud and money laundering. Thirdfort helps businesses to facilitate these anti-fraud checks so that individuals know they can transact safely and seamlessly with professionals during these big transactions. Our anti-fraud platform provides a secure way for professionals in regulated sectors like Lawyers, Estate Agents and Accountants to transfer funds and verify sensitive information through app-based document checks, facial recognition and open banking. Over 1,500 businesses now trust Thirdfort to verify their clients. We are FCA regulated and have raised over $33m in capital from leading Fintech investors.

The Role: We are looking for a People & Talent Lead to refine and execute a people and talent strategy that attracts, nurtures, and retains top talent while fostering a culture of high performance and growth so Thirdfort can achieve its goals. You’ll join and lead a People & Talent team of 3, currently made up of a People Partner, Talent Partner and People & Workspace Associate. You will report into our COO and work closely with leaders across the business.

As our People & Talent Lead, you will:

  • Own and execute the People & Talent strategy: Deliver the 2026/7 People & Talent annual plan, reporting regularly on progress against the plan and day-to-day KPIs, while collaborating with the COO and leadership to align people strategies with business goals.
  • Act as a Culture and Engagement lead: Championing and working to embed our values and culture across the business and in our People & Talent approach. You will also oversee and guide our workplace approach to support this.
  • Build manager and leadership capability: Alongside our People Partner, work to ensure we’re enabling managers through effective partnership, coaching, advice, and training on strategic and operational people matters to drive high performance across their teams.
  • Own our People Partnering approach: Partnering with leaders across the business, ensuring our approach enables teams across the business to achieve their goals.
  • Oversee People operations and analytics: Manage day-to-day people operations through leading the People Associate, maintain regular People & Talent reporting for internal and business-wide use, and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of People initiatives.
  • Manage and develop the People & Talent team: Lead a team of 3, providing coaching and development to ensure the team delivers exceptional service and continues to grow their capabilities.
  • Manage the People budget: Work with the COO to manage the annual People budget, ensuring spending delivers clear ROI and supports business objectives.

You may be right for this role if you:

  • Have worked in a People & Talent Lead role or similar in a fast-growth business.
  • Have experience partnering with Leaders and Managers - including supporting them to embed culture, manage complex ER and performance cases.
  • Are organised and have experience leading company-wide projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Are data driven - comfortable using People & Talent data to identify trends, report on progress and inform strategy.
  • Have a high level of emotional intelligence, and can see different perspectives and understand how your emotions and behaviour can affect those around you.
  • Have experience managing and coaching a team.
