ABOUT
Third is a modern-commerce growth company helping brands turn new and emerging platforms into real sales channels. Our integrated acquisition strategy connects best-in-class teams across TikTok, Whatnot, Meta, Snap, and beyond - eliminating the need to stitch together multiple partners. Third blends deep niche expertise with modern execution to launch, operate, and scale commerce on new platforms, transforming culture, creators, and content into real product sales.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for a part time Livestream Producer to own the end-to-end livestream retail engine for assigned brands. This role has the potential to transition to full time for the right person. This is not just production or talent direction. This is live sales leadership. You are responsible for strategy, execution, conversion, and performance — before, during, and after every stream. From run of show to revenue per minute, you own the outcome.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own Revenue in Real Time
- Drive GMV during every live session with clear, measurable KPIs.
- Execute live selling tactics that increase conversion rate, AOV, and revenue per minute.
- Strategically push and pin products to support drops, bundles, upsells, and limited-time offers.
- Reinforce urgency using inventory cues, countdowns, and promotional moments.
- Guide viewers through the purchase flow to reduce friction and abandoned carts.
- Monitor live metrics (GMV, CTR, CVR, AOV) and adjust messaging on the fly.
- Pivot mid-stream when products underperform.
- Align tightly with hosts to time CTAs, price reveals, and offer escalations for maximum conversion.
- Build the Show
- Develop live shopping strategies — including run of show, merchandising flow, and creative formats.
- Prepare sets, camera framing, lighting, and on-camera elements to match brand standards.
- Direct on-camera talent to ensure energy, clarity, and conversion alignment.
- Operate backend commerce and livestream dashboards across platforms.
- Treat every stream like a flagship retail moment — not background content.
- Engage the Community
- Actively manage live chat by answering questions, surfacing buying objections, and creating interaction loops that drive urgency and trust.
- Build community while driving conversion in real time.
- Analyze and Improve
- Collect and analyze post-stream performance data.
- Deliver clear recaps outlining what drove sales — and what didn’t.
- Refine formats, offers, pacing, and merchandising strategy based on performance.
- Each stream should compound into the next.
- Master the Product
- Know assigned product lines deeply — pricing, variants, discounts, materials, ingredients.
- Translate product knowledge into compelling live selling narratives.
- Develop campaigns that highlight hero SKUs and strategic launches.
- Confidence converts.
- Lead and Collaborate
- Partner closely with Client Success and leadership to align brand objectives with live execution.
- Act as the primary client-facing partner for assigned brands, translating performance data into strategy, managing stakeholders with confidence, and driving alignment around revenue goals.
- Manage and prepare on-camera talent with clarity and structure.
- Continuously improve workflows, efficiency, and live performance standards.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years of experience in livestream, social commerce, e-commerce, or the creator economy.
- Strong understanding of TikTok Live, YouTube, Instagram, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to drive engagement, conversion, or sales through content or live formats.
- Strong attention to detail with a modern aesthetic sensibility.
- Ability to lead live moments - managing talent, pacing, and execution under pressure.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
WHO YOU ARE
- You think like a retailer, not just a producer.
- You’re calm when things break (and they will).
- You understand urgency, pacing, and how offers move people.
- You balance creative instinct with commercial discipline.
- You take ownership of revenue.
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
Livestream is the closest commerce gets to real life. It’s immediate. It’s communal. It converts in the moment.
