Due to the ever‑increasing momentum around our group exercise product and in line with our mission to develop the very best instructors in the world, we’re looking for a Senior Instructor to support our Sport & Performance Master Trainer. The Senior Instructor will display expert knowledge, observation, analysis and specialist in coaching Running in a health club environment. We’ll expect you to be trained in and regularly coaching other Third Space signature concepts within the S&P category.
The successful candidate will be focussed on supporting other coaches to achieve their goals and ambitions through mentoring and ongoing CPDs, while challenging their own existing knowledge and developing further understanding through a culture of collaboration and strong team ethos. You’ll also attend Education Days as set with the Master Trainer, engage the teams in club, as well as organising and attending instructor auditions to help us find the talented Third Space Instructors of the future.
This is an employed role based on 32 hours per week across 5 days and you will be expected to teach 17 classes per week, between two Third Space clubs in addition to hours of agreed admin and work with the Master Trainer.
We’re looking for an experienced instructor who has the capability and desire to step up and take on additional responsibility within our Group Exercise offering alongside our Master Trainers and Head of Group Exercise – for this reason you’ll be collaborative in your approach, well organised and able to manage a busy workload. Additionally, you’ll be obsessed with high product and operational delivery as well as eager to improve these across the rest of the instructor population.
