Finance Operations Manager – London

Third Space hosts thirteen of London\’s luxury health clubs across inspiring central London locations. All clubs are individual in style and bound by a common philosophy; to provide outstanding fitness spaces that our members feel are their own. With this in mind, we are now looking for a Finance Operations Manager.

This position will be responsible for the management of the Accounts Payable team, with additional duties being introduced as the company evolves. The role will also assist with accurately accounting for all cash inflows and outflows across the business. For this position we are looking for a strong people manager who thrives off being part of developing people, with experience across both Accounts Payable and Receivable.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the Finance Operations team in the day-to-day transactional finance tasks
• Delivering finance transformation projects during Third Space\’s next growth phase
• Lead & develop the team to maximise their personal potential within Third Space and beyond
• Take the lead on credit application processes with suppliers to achieve optimal credit terms with key suppliers.
• Ownership of best practice around system and identify new and continuous improvement
• Ownership of the audit process in relation to substantive testing for all income and expenses excluding payroll.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Proven experience in a management role with a team of 2 or more
• Strong experience in Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
• Banking experience (not essential)
• AAT Qualified or studying towards a qualification
• Strong customer-centric approach (internal and external customers)
