They are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated New Business Manager, the key focus of the role is the generation of new, long term and sustainable income, through the acquisition and cultivation of new corporate partners.
You will be joining a dynamic team with big ambitions for growth, in a well-established Fundraising Department, the charity is happy to consider someone from either a Fundraising or private sector background.
The role
- Build and manage relationships with corporate partners to create mutually beneficial sponsorship and partnership opportunities
- Play a key role in growing the charity's corporate revenue stream and strengthening its financial sustainability
- Creating and managing a new business pipeline of prospects, from a variety of sectors to approach for funding
- Developing and implementing new business activity and corporate fundraising products
- Identifying and building new relationships with corporates, with a focus on securing five, six and seven figure partnerships
The candidate
- New business development experience in fundraising or sales, with a track record of successfully pitching for and winning new business; in the private or charity sector
- Experience in a sales or business development environment, or a fundraising role with a strong commercial edge.
- Tenacity, and well-developed influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to self-motivate and display initiative in growing new business.
- Experience of contributing to an income generation strategy, working in a target driven environment, and hitting targets
