We are looking for an Events Lead to be responsible for the planning, development and delivery of a successful events programme, with a focus on maximising income, engagement with supporters and raising awareness of the hospice. The post holder will manage a portfolio of events and work closely with the Events & Community Manager on the introduction of new event products. This is a hybrid working Essex based role.

The Role:

  • Take ownership of a growing events portfolio, including flagship events such as a Memory Walk and a bi-annual Ball, while helping to develop new and innovative fundraising opportunities.
  • Develop and implement the events fundraising plan in line with the overall fundraising strategy.
  • Deliver engaging supporter journeys that enhance long-term relationships with donors and participants.

The Candidate:

  • Demonstrable events management experience or similar role.
  • Experience of effective time management and prioritising conflicting workloads successfully.
  • Experience of working with volunteers.
