Hours: Part-time (Initially up to 5 hours per week, subject to negotiation)

About the Role
Acting as the primary point of contact for Health & Wellbeing (H&W) project leads, you will help
deliver Shaping Care in Kirklees H&W programme by supporting day-to-day compliance, operations,
partnerships, communication, and monitoring activity. This key admin role ensures tasks and project
plans stay on track, data is collected for evaluations, and project expenditure is monitored in
coordination with the Project Lead/Board member

Partnership, Engagement & Support (35%): Build positive relationships with H&W partners
and service participants; organize meetings, events, and training; assist with volunteer
recruitment/training; represent SCiK and promote health-related activities across
communication channels.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting (20%): Collect and analyze project data to produce
progress reports, identify operational issues, support continuous improvement, and assist
with outcome evaluations.
Communication (20%): Collect case studies, promote community stories, contribute to
presentations, and utilize multiple communication channels to raise awareness of H&W
activities.
Project Administration (15%): Monitor project expenditure alongside the Finance Manager,
support Service Level Agreements (SLAs), engage partners, and help resolve funding contract
issues.
General Responsibilities (10%): Uphold organizational values, promote Equality, Diversity,
and Inclusion (EDI), adhere to health & safety and safeguarding policies, and work flexibly to
meet community needs.

Person Specification

Essential:
Experience in project or administrative coordination within the community, charity, or
health sector.
Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills with the ability to manage
multiple tasks independently.

Proficient in ICT (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable using social media,
web, and mobile platforms.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including Safeguarding, Health & Safety, and Equal
Opportunities.
Willingness to travel across Kirklees as required.
A basic DBS check is required for this post.
Desirable:
Knowledge and experience of working with VCSE organisations and partners across Kirklees.
Experience in tracking or monitoring project budgets and finances.
Background in volunteer management, recruitment, or supervision.
Community work or equivalent formal qualification.

This role is project-funded and performance-based, with targets in place to ensure support reaches
as many clients as possible. You may also work within your own networks, including friends, family,
or community contacts, where appropriate.
