Location:Remote-first as a team but we have a Glasgow office space and meet as a team at least once a quarter.
Hours:0.5 FTE (Part-Time, 17.5 hours per week)
Salary:£15,500 per annum (0.5 FTE), plus up to £5,000 bonus based on targets.
Full-time equivalent:£31,000 salary + up to £10,000 bonus.
Role Purpose
Lead and grow the Digital Trustees programme, building its profile, reach, and impact. This role will focus on developing strategic partnerships – particularly with the tech sector and corporates. You’ll help build partnerships with third sector organisations, membership bodies and funders – helping us achieve our aim of a digital, data or design expert on the board of every charity.
You’ll have the chance to really shape the future of Digital Trustees – how the programme is delivered, how we communicate the work and how we deliver more impact.
You’ll also have the chance to work alongside the team in helping position our in-person Tech for Good Scotland event and network as a key player in the national tech-for-good ecosystem.
This role will report directly to our Director, Ross McCulloch, and you’ll have admin support, brand support plus website developer support available in-house.
Overview of terms
- 5% employee pension contribution matched by 5% employer pension contribution
- 25 days annual leave plus 8 days public holidays – holidays quoted are full time equivalent (FTE) and will be adjusted pro-rata if part-time. (plus an additional day off for your birthday)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Digital Trustees Programme:Oversee all aspects of the Digital Trustees programme, from strategy and delivery to evaluation, ensuring it meets ambitious growth and impact targets. You’ll work strategically with our Director, Ross McCulloch.
- Build and Strengthen Sector Relationships:Develop and nurture partnerships with tech companies, third sector bodies, and corporates. Leverage existing networks and create new opportunities for collaboration, sponsorship, and joint initiatives. Our Director Ross McCulloch will be there to help share some of this workload – speaking opportunities, sourcing new partnerships, etc.
- Drive Sales Across Other Third Sector Lab Services:A small part of this role will be helping us proactively market and secure new business for consultancy, website design, campaign, and content strategy services.
- Help us position Tech for Good Scotland more effectively:As part of the team you’ll get involved in championing Tech for Good Scotland, raising its profile within the tech ecosystem.
Person Specification
- Demonstrable experience building partnerships, especially with tech sector and corporate partners.
- Track record of driving sales or business development in consultancy, digital, or related services.
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship management skills.
- Confident public speaker – online and offline.
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience in the Scottish third sector or tech-for-good ecosystem.
- Understanding of charity governance and trustee recruitment.
