We are Third Sector Lab – a leading digital agency and programme delivery partner for charities, social enterprises, and the public sector.

About Third Sector Lab

Third Sector Lab is a digital agency working exclusively with charities and social impact organisations. We design and deliver websites, campaigns, and digital transformation projects that help the third sector communicate more effectively, work more openly, and create lasting change. We’re a small, values-driven team who care deeply about our clients and the causes they champion. Collaboration, clarity, and empathy are at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Digital Agency Project Manager to oversee delivery across our website and digital projects. You’ll lead projects from discovery and design through to development, testing, and launch — ensuring every stage runs smoothly, deadlines are met, and clients feel supported throughout. You’ll also manage other types of digital projects, such as branding, content design, and campaign delivery. This is a coordination and leadership role, not a delivery role. You won’t be writing copy, designing, or coding — your focus is on planning, communication, and delivery management across a team of designers, developers, and freelancers. We expect the role to be around 3–4 days per week, but we’re open to full-time applicants who want to contribute more broadly across the agency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple website and digital projects from brief to completion.
  • Coordinate internal team members and freelancers to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • Act as the main client contact, ensuring clear, proactive communication and a positive client experience.
  • Track progress, manage risks, and maintain up-to-date documentation using JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Support project scoping, scheduling, and estimating alongside senior colleagues.
  • Help refine and improve project management processes as the agency grows.

About You

  • Proven experience managing projects within a digital agency (or a similar client-facing digital environment).
  • Strong understanding of website design and development processes.
  • Exceptionally organised, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident managing multiple projects and priorities at once.
  • Comfortable coordinating remote teams and freelancers.
  • Passionate about supporting charities and values-driven organisations.
  • Familiar with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
  • Understanding of client account management and building long-term relationships.
  • Understanding of digital agency operations and workflows.
  • Experience managing WordPress website projects.
  • Awareness of accessibility and user-centred design principles.
  • Commuting distance to our Glasgow office.

What We Offer

  • Flexible hybrid working (Home and Glasgow-based office).
  • 25 days annual leave (pro rata) plus public holidays.
  • Work that makes a real difference to charities and communities across the UK.
  • 5% employee pension contribution matched by 5% employer pension contribution.
  • You get an additional day off for your birthday.

Deadline: Midnight on 16th Nov 2025
