What You’ll Do
- Develop the organisations capacity building role for the sector across Dumfries and Galloway and further develop their model of sector collaboration.
- Provide strategic leadership across a range of portfolios, supporting and enabling their Lead Officers to design, develop and deliver on their ambitions.
- Enable the development of the organisation’s community involvement, volunteering and local partnership activity and be an advocate for community-led design and investment.
- Represent TSDG and the sector on leadership groups across community planning and regional priorities, including Chairing some relevant groups.
- Build effective partnership and co-working relationships within a range of local, regional partnerships, including NHSDG, Dumfries and Galloway Council, South of Scotland Enterprise, the Third Sector Interface Network and Scottish Government.
- Be accountable, transparent, inclusive and fair to play your part in leading the organisation.
- As a member of the Senior Leadership Group, contribute to the further development and delivery of our Prospectus and help build confidence in the organisation and sector to lead.
