Lothlorien Community is looking for an Outreach Coordinator to join our Core Group staff team on a fixed‑term basis until March 2028 (3 days per week). Based near Corsock in rural Dumfries and Galloway, Lothlorien is a therapeutic community set within 17 acres of woodland, gardens, and meadows. For over 40 years, we have supported people experiencing mental health challenges through community living, therapeutic gardening, and nature‑based activities.
This is a varied and rewarding role focused on developing and delivering our outreach and day visitor programme. You’ll work closely with day visitors, residents, volunteers, and partner organisations to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment. The role includes coordinating workshops, therapeutic gardening sessions, nature‑based activities, and community events.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience supporting adults in health, care, or wellbeing settings
- Interest in therapeutic gardening and nature‑based approaches
- Confidence in coordinating activities or community programmes
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative working ability
The role also includes participation in the on‑call rota (approximately 1 week in 4).
