The Town Centre Network Coordinator will lead the development, coordination, and long-term sustainability of Dumfries Business Action—a collaborative network connecting local businesses, community groups, agencies, and event providers. The role exists to strengthen relationships, boost economic vitality, and create a vibrant, resilient, and welcoming town centre.

A core focus of the role is to improve business–community–agency engagement, increase cross-sector collaboration, and drive footfall through joint initiatives, events, public realm improvements, and positive town promotion. The Co-ordinator will also help stimulate local economic growth, support innovation and startups, and contribute to a stronger sense of community ownership and environmental awareness.
