We are currently working with a big data technology company that helps businesses unlock data insights to grow sales. The company solves some real problems related to big data storage, processing, machine learning, and data visualization. They are looking for a Google Cloud DevOps Engineer to help reshape the future of market research and data insights.

What You\’ll Be Doing:

  • Working in partnership with our software engineering teams
  • Building and operating next-generation infrastructure for support
  • Contributing to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related cloud technologies
  • Testing and deploying software quickly
  • Ensuring high standards of reliability and security
  • Automating infrastructure build and deployment
  • Handling orchestration technologies in a hybrid-cloud environment using Terraform, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Ensuring security, scalability, cost-effectiveness, and high performance

What You\’ll Bring to the Role:

  • Exposure to Linux administration skills
  • Strong knowledge of technical architecture including microservices, serverless functions, NoSQL
  • Proven expertise with Configuration Management tools like Puppet and Ansible
  • Experience establishing and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Bamboo
  • Deep knowledge of GCP, Terraform, networking, and TCP/IP
  • Proficiency in Python, Ruby, Go, or Java
  • Experience with monitoring and log aggregation tools such as Cloudwatch, New Relic, Splunk, ELK
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Hadoop, HDFS, Spark
