Cloudbeds is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand our group sales efforts within the EMEA market. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the hotel technology sector. This role will be responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategies, managing a team of Group Sales professionals, and fostering partnerships with key industry stakeholders.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive regional group sales strategy aligned with Cloudbeds' overall business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of group sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular sales forecasting and reporting to senior management.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the group sales segment.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline.
- Negotiate and close complex sales agreements.
- Collaborate with Marketing to generate leads and support sales efforts.
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive sales experience, with a proven track record of success in selling to Hotel Groups. Established network of contacts within the hotel industry. Demonstrated experience in leading and managing high-performing, remote sales teams. Strong understanding of the hospitality industry and Enterprise sales processes. Strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop and execute sales plans. Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and other sales tools. Ability to travel as required.
