KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Primary technical point of contact for the applications in scope of this role
- Represent Software Engineering CoE in discussions and forums such as architecture and design forums, governance forums, security etc.
- Collaborate with teams on environment setup, configuration planning, best practices, and DLP policies
- Act as a bridge between Intact and third-party teams to assess environment compatibility, highlight risks, and propose mitigations.
- Ensure the applications are built in adherence to Intact, and established industry standards for software development
- Document technical learnings, configurations, and application knowledge for knowledge retention, person dependency reduction, and future transition
- Build proofs of concept, work on architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and support of software applications
- Collaborate with other teams and vendors, actively contribute to technical discussions on requirements analysis, solution design, and implementation approach
- Work on porting, deployment, verification, and debugging for applications
- Assist in defining platform team structure, capacity, skills, and hiring requirements; support recruitment.
- Develop a comprehensive handover plan covering technical/functional aspects, components, environment strategy, dev process, and go-live approach.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Extensive hands-on experience in Microsoft Power Platform
- Deep expertise in Model Driven Apps, Power Platform Code Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, customisation of Power Platform Apps through plugins, PCFs, custom connectors
- Hands-on experience on Azure Function Apps, Logic Apps, .Net Container Apps, Copilot Studio
- Experience of working on React framework, C#, APIs
- Good knowledge of general database concepts, SQL server, Power BI
- Experience with building AI agents
