About the Role

We are seeking a Specialty Insurance Domain Expert at the Consultant level with strong expertise across specialty lines such as Cyber, Marine, Energy, Professional Liability, and Excess & Surplus (E&S). The candidate will support underwriting, distribution, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Specialty Insurance Domain:
    • Analyse underwriting processes across specialty insurance lines
    • Support submission-to-bind lifecycle and policy lifecycle activities
    • Understand Broker and MGU distribution channels
  • Business Analysis:
    • Gather, validate, and document business and functional requirements
    • Develop BRDs, use cases, and process flows
    • Perform gap analysis and recommend improvements
  • Process Optimisation:
    • Identify process improvement opportunities
    • Support digital underwriting and automation initiatives
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as liaison between business and IT teams
    • Facilitate workshops and requirement discussions
  • Testing & Implementation:
    • Support UAT and validate outputs
    • Assist in deployment and post-go-live activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s with 5+ years or Master’s with 3+ years
  • BA experience
  • 5–8+ years in Specialty Insurance
  • Strong underwriting and distribution knowledge
  • SDLC and Agile experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to London Market
  • Experience with specialty platforms
  • Knowledge of submission lifecycle
  • Aware of digital/AI trends
  • Rules configuration experience
